CHCF's iPhone Applications

Two iPhone apps for californiahealthline.org and ihealthbeat.org.

Delivers the same CHCF branded content found on the original websites. iPhone and iTouch users can view articles, images, and audio from California HealthLine and iHealthBeat. Embedded within these applications are the same advanced search functionality found on the websites.

  • Led development and architecture design for both the iHealthBeat and California Healthline iPhone Applications, which are available for download from the App Store.
  • iTunes App Store links: California Healthline, iHealthbeat.
  • Developed during 2008-2009 as an employee of Velir Studios.

MattMagpayo.com is my personal blog and portfolio site. Built as a home for my web presence and work.

  • Constructed all website designs and images using Adobe Photoshop and XHTML/CSS.
  • Implemented it on the open source blog publishing application Wordpress.

RWJF Search and Slideshows

Enhancements to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation website.

Enhanced site wide search functionality of RWJF.org, the main site for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, a non-profit focused on American health and healthcare. User slideshow functionality was also added to allow users to search, gather, and organize the wide number of visual articles found on the site.

  • Lead developer on the custom Google Search Appliance implementation as well as the extensive Javascript work for the Slideshow functionality.

Kidsdata.org Maps

Thematic mapping for children health data in California.

The Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health website KidsData.org offers more than 250 indicators on the health and well-being of California children. Along with tables, trend reports, and bar graphs, users are able to thematically map the indicators on to an interactive Google Map.

Kaiser Health News Multimedia

Integrated video experience using the Brightcove API.

Kaiser Health News, a nonprofit news organization committed to in-depth coverage of health care policy and politics, required an integrated video viewing experience in its new website. Brightcove's video platform was used to host all videos, and the Brightcove API was utilized to complete the integration with the Sitecore CMS.

  • Implemented the Brightcove API integration to make it work best with kaiserhealthnews.org's Sitecore CMS base.
  • Also contributed to various elements of the site construction using Sitecore CMS.

theWebosphere.com is a consumer web blog targeted toward the greater Boston area, with news on the latest startups, local events, and meetups.

  • Developed this blog on Boston Web 2.0 startups and Internet tech.

ZoomInfo Powersearch

Various improvements and site additions to Zoominfo's Powersearch.

A large number of user requested features and bug fixes for ZoomInfo's flagship paid web product, ZoomInfo Powersearch. Member of a small agile software development team to improve and maintain the company’s collection of customer facing web applications using ASP.NET.

  • Worked closely with both product managers and designers to develop user requested features and bug fixes.
  • Reduced the page load size of ZoomInfo Powersearch by up to 50 percent using XHTML/CSS and AJAX.
  • As an ZoomInfo employee during 2006-2007.

Leverage ZoomInfo search results within Salesforce.

Allows Salesforce users to enhance the data quality of your and find new leads with ZoomInfo people and company profiles.

  • Handled development of ZoomInfo’s new Salesforce CRM integration using the AppExchange API.
  • Worked with consultants and contractors to develop a unique de-duping capabilities.
